start: 2026-02-19 16:30:00
end: 2026-02-19 17:00:00

## Improvements

Multiple sub-components will be enhanced to make way for new features in the near future.

## Impact

Our engineers make every effort to minimize system impact. Starting at 16:30, the following impact can be expected. The Kubernetes API public endpoint of clusters will be down for a maximum of 30 seconds followed by a 120 seconds period of degraded connectivity. Internal access to the Kubernetes API is not affected and thus we do not expect any downtime for workloads nor traffic to and from workloads. While it’s important to be aware of the start and end times of the maintenance window we are confident to complete these changes with minimal impact.

## User Action

Please refrain from making changes to your EMK resources during the given start and end times. EMK clusters will not be able to autoscale during maintenance, if you anticipate an increase in workload please pre-scale your cluster accordingly.
