# Scheduled Maintenance: Transactional Email Service

## Overview
We'll be performing scheduled maintenance on our Transactional Email service to install system updates and critical security updates, which are essential for the security and stability of the platform.

## Scheduled Time
Thursday, 06 January 2026, between 10:00 and 14:00 CET
Duration: Up to 4 hours

## Impact
Our engineers make every effort to minimise system impact.

**Affected Services:**
- Transactional Email sending
- Email API endpoints
- SMTP relay services

**Expected Impact:**
- Brief interruptions in email sending capabilities during system updates and server restarts
- Emails sent during the maintenance window may be queued and delivered after completion
